About Faith Like Potatoes
Angus Buchan is a straight-talking South African farmer of Scottish extraction. His abrupt conversion startled friends of the explosive hard-drinking man. Angus’ bold faith has carried him through droughts, family tragedies and financial crisis. He has seen wonderful miracles of provision and healing.
In obedience to God’s call he started preaching, which led into a healing ministry. He has also set up an AIDS orphanage and a 500-seat auditorium on his land. Still a farmer, he is now an international evangelist, travelling through Africa in a refitted yellow fire engine, and filling the largest venues in South Africa. He has visited Scotland several times in recent years on speaking tours. In July 2006 he undertook a UK-wide tour.

We just watched “Faith Like Potatoes”, the movie. I will admit the first part was a little slow, but we continued to watch as I was very interested in this story. To make a long story short, the move was extremely inspiring and clutched you by the throat to go back to your spiritual roots of Jesus and His Love. What a beautiful story and my most favorite thing about it is that it is true. I went online and googled Angus Buchan and got so many websites on him and his ministry. My husband even talked about going to Australia for the Mighty Men’s Conference….the problem was, it was this coming weekend. So impressed with your faith and dedication to serve the Lord and God you preach about. Thank you again for showing the world there still are a few honest and true Christian evangelists and preachers left in the world.

Yes I have nothing but good stuff about his ministry, I also wanted to go to his Might Men’s Conference in Oz and even though I live in Perth, I did not know he was preaching 20kms away from me until a week before and alas had other plans…

I WAS PRIVILIDGED TO WATCH FAITH LIKE POTATOES 4/19/06, VERY DOWN TO EARTH, EASY TO RELATE TO WITH A MESSAGE THAT WILL SURELY STIR YOU UP TO WANT TO GO OUT AND WITNESS AND TESTIFY OF GOD’S POWER LOVE GRACE AND MERCY.
I WAS FORTUNATE TO SEE ANGUS PREACH ON T.V. A FEW MONTHS AGO AT A STADIUM MEETING AND HE IS CAPTIVATING, HIS MANNERISMS AND STYLE FIT THE MAN’S MAN IMAGE I HOLD, STRONG,POWERFUL, DETERMINED WITH A LOVE AND REVERANCE FOR GOD ALMIGHTY. I WAS ALMOST LATE TO CHURCH FOR I DID NOT WANT TO TURN HIM OFF TILL HE WAS DONE. GREAT INSPIRATIONAL MOVIE, GREAT PREACHER OF THE GOSPEL. ***** ALL THE WAY, GOD BLESS HIM FOR SHARING..

Wow! What an amazing story and reminder of what happens when we truly put our trust in God. I watched the movie with my 15yr old daughter. I want to purchase the movie so that others can see it. It is definitely a MUST!

I have his daily devotional book as well. A very clear way to think about Jesus as every part of our daily life.
I think you are ment to read one day at a time I finnished it in four nights.
I recommend this to everyone.

He actually had a heart attack on his last crusade in South Africa, amazing story that as we was air lifted out, the huge amounts of men prayed for him and by the time he got to the hostipal, he was 110% ok.

My brother in Christ Jonathan, take his visit in our house and he brought a DVD. Its a Christian movie, and guess what… its entitled “Faith like Potatoes” just reading the title made me ask many questions to my brother, like why faith compared to a potato? That’s just new to me,because i usually associate my faith to a bamboo,that even when strong rain comes it will never be uprooted. I am so blessed and again encourage to serve God and i really cried. Wow! Mr Angus faith is so amazing,and its just so amazing how God really works in the lives of his people/children. God never lets his children be embarrassed. Just last night, I am again revived and that in my emptiness i can feel God’s hand upon me. Thank you for this movie, i pray that many people will come to know God just watching this movie. God bless your family and ministry Bro. Angus Buchan. Your life is great testimony. And I am so blessed, God is so amazing. God bless us all.

Very heartwarming story, I have shared with many other.God is good and doing great things if we will only let Him use us, ordinary people. He is great and greatly to be praised. Thank you Angus for telling and sharing your story with the world. God is awesome.

It’s a amazing story. You just need faith in God. He is up there watching all of us and He takes care of us. You just need to believe in God and everything will go well. I really like to read this book can anyone tell me from where to buy it
