I watched this on 11/4/08 and while there are a few scenes that I had to turn away from (as you expect from a Leslie Nielson film - remember Naked Gun), I did enjoy the set ups of the super hero movies..
What was probably the best was the set up of Tom Cruise - I cannot remember who played Tom, but he did such a wonderful job and imo it was one of the most funniest moments of the movie.
NOTE: stay behind and watch the end credits, like most comedy movies, the end credits (were they play deleted scenes etc) are worth not getting trampled getting out of the cinema for.

I really liked this movie it was light hearted and funny. It was one of those movies that you have to laugh at - if you are looking for a serious movie this is not the movie to see.
The people i went with really like the movie aswell (they were laughing harder than what i was).
Like Jermayn I loved the Tom Cruise part - he captured the personality well and played on the characteristics of Tom Cruise to create a really funny segment.
