You should have seen the lines for this movie (im glad we got the early session). Heath Ledger totally rocked as the Joker - i thought jack nicholson was good but Heath was so much better. The part was made for him.

My favourite part of the movie was where the Joker was dressed as a nurse and he comes running out of the hospital and the bomb wouldnt go off…

Very good movie - i will buy it when it comes out on DVD

  3. Jermayn Says:

Agree that Heath was a better Joker than Nicholson and although dieing would help him get an Oscar, he really does deserve it as he was really REALLY that good. He stole the limelight off Bale and the other stars in this movie.

    Storyline wise:
For the first hour, the movie flows nicely but then after the car chase (Joker gets caught) it shoots up into a whole new level of excellence and its then that you sit on the edge of your seat just ‘wowing’.

Thought the actress who played Dawes was a bit flimsy and while do not think much of Holmes she did do a better job. Thought “Two Face/ Dent” was good but would have liked to see him stay alive for the next movie.

Thing that got me about Ledgers performance was that you could not even tell that it was him. Only a few times did his aussie accent break through but you sit there going “Is it really him?”

    Worth watching..

Saw The Dark Knight for the second time with my mother yesterday. I think it’s even better the second time around, you pick up on more things and, just like Batman Begins, this is the movie future comic-book films will be judged by. It’s just frakkin’ brilliant!
