Saw the shorts for this at the Supanova a few months ago and it looks ok. Action, no storyline what more would a guy want?

Watched this last night and to be honest I was a little disappointed. The action and the special effects was great however the way it was delivered in the storyline was average imo.
Freeman and Jolie are great actors but James McAvoy who played Wesley Gibson imo struggled at times.
I enjoyed the storyline and the initiation into the ‘club’ was eye-opening and along with the end fighting scene it made a better than average movie but…
Bending bullets in a perfect circle and shooting the bullets in mid air at times was a little over the top.
I would only suggest this movie for ‘mature’ viewers as there is glimpses of sexual scenes and at times the language can be a bit much and with the action their is blood being spilled.

Wanted is about a man named Wesley (James McAvoy -Atonement, The Last King of Scotland ) who lives a mundane (below average life). That has panic attacks constantly being needed to be medicated with tablets to control the condition.
One day he encounters Fox (Angelina Jolie —Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Lara Croft Tomb Raider) who is about to change his life forever…
Fox and Sloan (Morgan Freeman—Batman Begins, Million Dollar Baby ) are apart of the ‘fraternity’ that has been around for around 1000 years.
It is a fraternity of assassins.
The special effects are good (very much like the matrix style of effects)
If you liked the matrix then you probably would like this movie. It has matrix type of special effect where people can dodge bullets and bend bullets around the corner.
There are many twists in this movie that keep it interesting and keep you guessing throughout the movie.
Packed full of action. A hint of romance. With an ounce of mystery.
I rate this movie three only three out of five as it is an average movie compared to the calibre of actors in it… Its not Morgan Freeman’s or Angelina Jolie’s best roles.
