The last year or so has seen a few sequels with Rocky 6, Rambo 4, Die Hard 4, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian, National Treasure 2 Book Of Secrets and Batman 2 and Terminator 4 coming out soon.
But the question is: Which is the best ever sequel?
Which sequel match and even raised the bar from the original movie and why?

I think the above mentioned sequels are some of the best ever created. It used to be that sequels just sucked!
* Indiana Jones minus the Aliens was enjoyable
* Rocky 6 I also enjoyed but seeing a wrinkly 60 year old boxing was a bit funny
* Die Hard 4 was probably even tenser and action packed than the first 3.
* NT2 was definitely better
* Batman ‘Dark Knight’ looks like it will be the best Batman ever imo

The best sequel have been
1. The 2nd and 3rd part of the Lord of the Rings.
Probably the most enjoyable fantasy film I have ever watched

I thought the new narnia movie was alot better than the first… But all the rocky’s you cant go past as being the best movie series ever…

I’d have to go with the Empire Strikes Back. BTW…I think Beno is dead wrong, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe movie was much better than the Prince Caspian movie. If they had kept the Prince Caspian movie even close to the classic book it would have been a lot better.
